Our aim at Studio DERA is to create finely crafted, joyful spaces which seamlessly integrate beauty and functionality. From our London-based practice we deliver complex public and private commissions across the UK and internationally - from bespoke homes to transformational educational, cultural, and community projects.

We have over twenty years of professional experience, alongside academic roles at the University of Greenwich and The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. We also undertake material and performance R&D, with a particular focus on natural materials and environmentally driven building design, developing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, durability, and user experience.

Our approach at Studio DERA is holistic and collaborative, combining open-minded creativity with rigorous problem-solving. This allows us to unlock challenging sites and craft spaces that are both purposeful and poetic.
