The house is a period Grade II Listed property in Belgravia where Mozart composed his first symphony. The project repurposes an existing swimming pool in order to create a new rear garden pavilion, bedroom, dressing room and lounge for a family home. The project has two key visual elements: a slim floating roof plate and a single slender column, creating the feel of a light and transparent structure. Th proposed pavilion is detached from the rear garden wall and connected to the main house by sunken courtyard, bringing natural light into the basement level.
