We are thrilled to announce the publication of the joint research paper, "A Comparative Analysis of Hemp-Lime Assemblies for Low-Carbon Building Construction" co-authored by our Director Max Dewdney, alongside Marincioni Valentina, Gori Virginia, Xu Bingyu, and Davies Tom.

This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on hemp-lime construction, a sustainable building material with significant potential for climate change mitigation and adaptation. The paper examines the thermal and hygroscopic performance of different hemp-lime wall assemblies and explores ways to bridge the gap between material characterisation and building simulation for more accurate performance assessments. This research is directly informing the design and construction of our Higham Hill Hub project, a community centre built from hempcrete.
